Very high pressure and there 100 point check wasn’t very good 2 days after we bought the battery died found out the positive post was broken and had to replace at my cost

Underhanded and no sense of loyalty or fairness. They only want to sell a car. I specifically stated to them that I had my own financing and would put down a deposit because “I did not want to lose this car”. How much clearer can you get? They still sold it out from under me without even telling me until they started running numbers on my trade. They never asked for the deposit that I specifically told them I wanted to make yet they still sold the car to someone else. The fact that they were still trying to sell the car indicates their callous and unscrupulous behavior. I live 400 miles from this dealership which they were aware of and they indicated that it was not a problem for me to come a week later. Apparently not, since they could care less about selling to me. Avoid them unless you are willing to get lied to. ALSO WATCH OUT FOR THE “DEALER INSTALLED EXTRAS”. Really??? On a used car?

I had 5 different people call me on the same day. Obviously internal communication is lacking. They did list a car that was perfect for me. My credit union loan officer looked it up and approved. I spoke with at least 4 people the morning I was going to look at it and test drive. My loan officer had 1 more question. I planned on buying that day. I called and spoke to Chris, the internet mgr, to be told that the car had been sold the night before. Why the other 4 people i spoke with didn't know, I can only guess. I felt like that car had never been available or would only be available until I headed that way. The old bait and switch. I dont know if that is what happened, but that is how it felt. I'm just lucky I hadn't spent the $25 Uber was gonna charge me to take me to the dealership.

Bait & switch dealer! Advertise low price on vehicle to show great deal on search algorithms but when you arrive to dealer they throw all these "dealer added assessories" onto price making it go from great to mot even fair... Not transparent dealer and try to scree over military & veterans... stay far away!

I was contacted immediately and then when I responded back, I heard nothing back afterwords that helped toward the car buying process. Next thing I knew I was receiving an e mail saying that the car was sold.

Walked into dealer it was the worst experience I ever had, I started working with a white associate, when it came down to asking about numbers and car color they brought over a black associate (I guess to try to appeal to the race card as I'm black) after we talked about some "broad numbers" it was decided they would go to the manager to see if they had any cars near my price in stock. The manager wouldn't help as they automatically assumed I could not afford the car, he told his lovely associates to offer me a base package Dodge Charger, not a scat pack, no your basic run of the mill V-6. So I went to another dealer and purchased a brand new Dodge 2019 Scat Pack Plus with 0 miles on it. Dealers should never judge a book by its cover, this one did.

Horrible experience. Apparently there is a limit on how long a review can be. Came in to look at a used 4runner or new/used trucks. Salesman kept avoiding showing us any new trucks. Once we started to negotiate price it was revealed the advertised price didnt include any fees including a $2,500 reconditioning fee for a car that only had 8k miles. When I said I had an offer from a Toyota dealer for the same car but new at $36000 they responded with asking me why I didn't take such a great offer and I should go buy the car. To be honest at 36k monthly payments where higher then I would have liked and I thought Peoria Ford may go down to 32k. After the joke of an experience, including the so called "Toyota expert" (he called himself that) I decide it was worth paying a little more a month and buy from a dealer that treats customers right, doesn't play games, and doesn't have ridiculous add ons that they hide from their advertised price. I will never be back to Peoria Ford.

While they did call back right away they were going to check on the truck and get back to me. I should have waited but didn't want to take the chance for a good deal to get away so I drove up there. When I got there they took me to the lot where it was stored. It was in the wholesale line and not available for sale.

Our dealer was RYAN HAUGHT, he is a really nice man. He made us feel comfortable and not pressured. He answered all of our questions and was easy to talk to. I almost did not go to PEORIA FORD because of negative reviews and we had a bad experience the day before at another car dealership with a bait & switch situation. When I talked to Ryan on the phone he assured me that the car I was interested in was there on the lot and he would have the keys in his hand when I got there and he did! I would recommend to anyone wanting to buy a car to talk to Ryan,

Great people but process pretty much sucks. Paid cash and we were still at dealer for 4 plus hours. They didn't seem to know about the price showing on car gurus and started out 3k higher than we were even considering. Add ons raised the price even more. In the end I guess I'd have to say we got the deal we were after, except for the silly clear coat refreshing program we don't need and won't use. Kudos to the salesman tho!

Stay clear from this dealership! Peoria Ford places a price on Car Gurus $2,000 under the going price to give it a "Great Deal" listing. When you arrive they add $2,000 more to the price for detail and conditioning. When I asked why they weren't honoring the price online, they said the price they put online is before cleaning and detailing. Peoria Ford is a dishonest dealership.

Sales person was helpful tried to negotiate price never got straight answer told me they had to run my credit before they would consider my offer explained was coming from over 2000 miles away and have my own financing three credit union said they still have to run my credit to consider my offer that's what I get for trying to buy a Mercedes-Benz from a Ford dealer needles to say I have a an appointment to purchase one this weekend and a certified Mercedes Benz dealer I see why it's on car gurus for over 100 days way to lose serious paying customer

My experience was not great. It took three emails to get a straight forward answer to a simple question I had. They just kept pushing me to come in to the store when what I wanted to know was did they still have the vehicle I was interested in. Finally I got the answer was no they did not. I would have wasted my time if I had gone there, but they did not tell me that the first two times I asked. Maybe they are a great dealer, but I’ll never know. They way they avoided my question made it feel like bait and switch.

The Tacoma was sold before my appointment to test drive it. They called me all day to confirm my appointment and I was told I was going to be the first to see on the lot, but it was sold before I had a chance to see it. They call me on my way to the dealership to tell me they sold it. They try to sell me a Ford truck instead, so I cut the conversation short and they hung up on me...

This van is a bait and switch. They don't have the vehicle. I was told it was in the shop for service. Told them to send pics when they have it ready and they said it will not be ready and they will not be selling. Although they would be happy to sell me a new van. 2 stars as the person on the phone was really nice.

Peoria Ford has posted a truck 20k below msrp and when i called them to confirm the price they say, "Cargurus is a 3rd party company and they are not affiliated with us". Then i got a phone call from the sales manager and he said the same thing. In other words dont trust Peoria Ford internet pricing.

Once you give them your phone number they call you repeatedly even though the car you wanted is gone and they did not have similar. I told them only to text as I cannot accept calls while seeing patients. They called 2x a week or more even after I talked to a manager about the text only necessity. I finally blocked their numbers.

The dealer called me five times within 30 minutes at 8 am. I was so annoyed that he last time I told the guy I’d just pass on the car. After that he proceeds to crank call my phone the rest of the day not saying anything when I answered. I had to block all incoming numbers from the dealership to get it to stop. I will never do business there.

They responded to my email but we went back in forth in emails as I repeatedly asked for pictures of the car and never received any. They lowered the price to try to get me to come to there dealership and for the fourth time asked yet again for pictures. The last response email from them the car supposedly sold. Bad customer service. All I was asking for was pictures is that to much to ask for? I think not.

Nothing to say. I contacted the dealer; after we talked and I thanked them for the information they were too aggressive trying to compel me to go to the dealer. Not a good strategy trying to force someone to do anything.

After calling several times, talking with three salespersons, "sales manager - Doug" agreed to a $500 discount. This placed the price at car guru's average. Arriving at the dealership 1 hour later, price was jumped $4k. New price included warranty extension, etc. Explaining I only wanted "phone commitment price", they knocked it down to $1500 over agreed price. We left, 10 minutes later, phone call $ was backed down to only $900 over agreed price. Disrespect from mid level sales person, young guy was great.... BEWARE.....Nice vehicle, beautiful store, dishonest people.

This dealer tried to pull a bait and switch on me, sales man assured me this ford edge was there and available, set up a time for me to come in and when I got the thr car miraculously sold right before I arrived, then he proceeded to try to get me to look at other vehicles after me telling him I am only interested in a edge... this is not the first time this dealership had done this, i gave them the benefit of doubt but come on..twice.. yeah its bait and switch.

I called to see if this car which was just listed would be available for test drive and was assured it would be, they called me and again I verified car would be available and that I was on my way. When I arrived we went to another lot and the car had grease paint on it that wheels had to be returned to customer who traded vehicle and I couldn't test drive. I was upset but can see how this can happen, but when we went back to the office to pull carfax I was told car was not available for sale, and after inquiring I discovered they had not a single car they could show me in the price range. I don't know if this is classic "bait and switch" of the shadist of dealers or a one off. Beware! wasted my whole afternoon.....

The dealer advertised the car at this low amazing cost with rebates and other savings then when it came down to secure the deal the Internet Manager Tyler had the nerves to try and force over 3,000 dollars in dealer options on me then told me “well I won’t sale you the car without the added options”. Don’t get Sucked into this guys pay attention to the numbers. NO ONE should be forced to have bogus add ons over 3000 bucks on the car if they do not want it! Shame on you Tyler

contacted then from Las Vegas, send my credit info and ask then to finance thru Ford motor credit, not to run my credit by any other finance company, they send it to 6 diferent companys and last to Ford mc. Call Doug , the manager all morning and he did not answer, finally i ask to talk to the GSM and he answered, told him that i was on my way from L.V., a 4 hours + drive, 2 hours later, half way there he text me saying that the car got sold. I have been in the car bussines since 1981, never seen anything like it. They simple don't care about other peoples time or concerns.Very unprofessionals, wold not recomend dealer to anybody.

Terrible follow-up and follow-through. I had to chase them to try and sell me a car. Then, after I followed up countless times and finally got someone to help me, I found their internet pricing to be misleading. Overall, worst experience ever! I did not and will not buy a car from these guys.

I had a terrible experience with Peoria Ford. They just gave me the runaround and never test drove the vehicle that I wanted to see. I wasted a whole day at the dealership. I was so upset when I left because they kept bouncing me to several different salesmen.

1 star! Way too pushy! Just wanted to make a deal but way overpriced on every vehicle! Finance manager was a jerk and talked down to customers. Sales guys just wanted to put me into something I could not afford on several occasions. Went in a few times because they would call and tell me they had a great deal for what I was looking for. I did my research on Edmunds on Nada and they were always WAY OVERPRICED. Hardly budged on any price each time too.
