I contacted them once on a new Ram. They waited over 2 days to reply and were too late (already made purchase). They have still been calling and emailing me 3-4x’s a day since then. Not good customer service...

Unfortunately the dealer is aware they were selling well above the recommended TrueCar price and stated they would in no way negotiate on the vehicle. This is a common practice of "up front pricing" which means you are going to get screwed and if you don't like it then you don't get the car. Per TrueCar the recommended price based on miles/year/etc was 42K on the high end, I asked them to come down to 44, they said not a chance.

Couldn't have had a worse experience. After driving 4.5 hours from San Antonio, after the deal was worked over the phone they added a $2000 "Grapevine Protection Coverage" to the price at signing. When inquiring what that was it was then explained to me that it is a required charge they put on all of their vehicles. Needless to say they wouldn't budge and me and my son drove back to SA. Instead of taking the time to explain the benefits and build a value, they just tried to sneak it in there. Not a good way of doing business, especially when we spent time and money driving out to Grapevine. Irony is I drove back to SA and made a better deal locally after explaining the nightmare experience at Grapevine Dodge. I also found out the "new" Jeep was a Demo and had 4K miles on it. The photos that were advertised showed 11 miles on it lol. I asked to speak to the GM and they wouldn't let me and wouldn't even give me his/her name. They said the ad showed the additional $2k which was not there

The people are super helpful and pretty knowledgeable. Did have a hickup during scheduling a test drive but it was quickly taken care of. Have yet to make purchase decision at time of writing, but big factor.

Dealer did not sell truck for advertised price. They added a "vehicle locater " device I didn't want for an extra $2000. I think they do this so if you miss a payment they can repossess. They did not tell me the out the door price until signing. They were fast at getting the factory trailer brake controller installed.

Everything went smoothly until after I left the dealership and realized that I had left my DL. I had intended on asking the sales Rep. for it but forgot,so that was on me. I contacted the sale Rep. about 5 mins down the road from the dealership but it was already close.He informed me he would look for my license. However when he could not locate it the following day when the dealership reopened. He deflected the situation onto me and said he had given me back the DL ,all of a sudden,and that I must have misplaced it. So it was on me and he apparently did all he could to look for it. Even though doing my test drive he couldn't find the car manual, after I asked him about it, however I found it right where he claimed he looked..Not one time did he take Responsibility or even apolgize for losing my DL. It's not like I made it home and did some errands before noticing my DL was gone. I was literally 5 mins down the road and called him. So I ended up spending my Monday at the DPS.

They added another $1900.00 to the list price for the vehicle locator in the car. This locator has already been paid for by the previous owner because they are installed on brand new vehicles. I walked away from the car I truly wanted because of this.

They were nice enough but unfortunately they have a bait and switch car pricing policy. The price you see online is about $1500 less than what they will actually sell the car for. They’ve added a dealer installed security package on all their cars. They make the purchaser pay for that package. I’m ok with that if it’s included in the advertised price, which this dealership doesn’t do. Fortunately I figured this out before making the hour one way trip to see the car.

Contacted them a couple times, but they did not respond. I would check the site everyday to see if the vehicle was still available and it was. After the 5th day, the site was updated and it was sold. Then the dealership called me to let me know the vehicle was sold. While I appreciate the call to let me know it was not available any longer, it would have been nice to get a call/email sooner.

Very bad experience. I will never go back to that store to waste my time. I called them to know out of the door price, they asked me to come to the store to know the exact price and details. I drove 40 miles to see the car and wanted to know more about the exact out of the door price details. The Sales Manager refused to provide the out of the door price and when I tried to explain to him that I drove 40 miles to see the car he was least bothered and was very rude. After I left the store the actual sales person called and apologized and provided the price. The actual sales person was very nice but the sales manager who is the one was very rude. After going through all of this, I lost interest to go back to the store to purchase the vehicle.

If you like ""Mickey Mouse car dealer tactics you will like this "system house". Sometimes car dealers deserve the reputation they have and the is one of them. You don't talk to a "salesman" the talk to a customer care agent then they start handing you off to the next person and so on. They don't return calls, very unprofessional and I had to call them back 3 times to get a ballpark number for my trade. Of course it was a "low-ball". I was so disgusted I got completely out of the mood to buy anything from anyone.

Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep was very helpful. I didn't purchase the car though. The information on CarGurus was incorrect. It showed the car as having a 392 (6.4 Liter) engine. The car actually had a 5.7 Liter engine.

They contacted me and everything was fine except when I was doing my test drive at peak time traffic 5pm the “supposedly” sales executive call my cell phone with the wrong attitude asking me “where are you” “when are you going to be back” threating me by telling me the car had Apex GPS tracking and he knew were we at. I got back and when I opened the building door he’s the only one waiting at the welcome desk with his arms crossed and a not friendly attitude. I sat down to negotiate my cash buy and after a lame negotiation back and forth with the sales manager I ended up leaving without buying. It’s a bad experience. Don’t do here to buy a used car. The used car building is old. Rusty doors and old style cubicles. Doesn’t motivate me to buy a car

The dealership was nice. But when I got there the truck was not close to advertised pricing. I also got a lowball offer on my trade. I told the salesman I was not interested in the deal and left. The salesman continued to text me with that same deal I told him no thank you too. This continued a couple of day until I had to ask him to quit texting me.

The sales personTony called me delusional after I told him he was trying to profit 7,000 on a vehicle. Their prices are inflated and over priced. They were asking full price on a Camaro that's marked at "Fair Value" mind you and offering me "Fair" for my appraisal. The guy had a big ego. The beginning of the conversation started off bad when he tried to challenge me in my asking price of my trade. I'd never in my life do business with that pompous jerk. Horrible customer service interaction. This is my experience working with him sadly, I'll be glad to provide screen shots to anyone interested.

I visited the dealer regarding this Honda Accord. The description clearly states "non-smoker". However, as soon as I walked up to the door of the car, the smoke smell took my breath away. The description was completely misleading.

The sticker price of the vehicle I looked at was a bait price. They have hidden fees from add-ons that they conveniently hadn't added to the website although the vehicle has been on the website for 32 days. (If you don't believe me, just call about a vehicle on their website that you know the price of, they'll say that they added something to that vehicle and tell you another price.) The people were nice, however they said they would send me some other vehicles and never sent them and said they would call me back about a vehicle and didn't. Even having cash in hand to buy a brand new vehicle, they won't work with you unless you buy above their sticker price.

Internet sales manager was rude, provided nothing resembling the information requested, and pushy. Sending 6 emails between the time of my request, 8:30pm and 9am, and demanding that I respond to his emails as he had a read receipt program and knew that I looked at his previous emails.

The staff was responsive and friendly. However, unknown to me there is a dealer practice (supposedly at all dealers) of installing options/add-owns to used/preowned vehicles. Don't be surprised if the real asking price is much higher than the advertised price. After some negotiating, I still bought the vehicle as it was a good deal.

You are correct when you say that most dealers have an Add-on Price attached to a vehicle. These Add-ons usually consist of a darker window tint than factory tint (Texas sun and heat, this is a better UV protective tint), Vehicle Recovery System which usually helps reduce insurance rates and will aid in recovery of the vehicle if it is stolen, paint and scratch repair for small dents and scratches at no charge to the customer, etc. We price our vehicles thousands of dollars below cost because we are a volume discount dealer. I should rate a zero stars. I talked to the internet sales contact and I asked a specific question about the truck listed. They sent a rep out to look at the vehicle and they answered my question. I told them I was coming that night to look at the truck. After work I called again to verify the hours of operation and said I was coming despite the rain and weather at 7:00. Upon arrival (waiting 10 minutes while they found a salesperson to talk to me) I was informed that the truck I asked about was sold the previous evening and was not even on the lot! But they had a different truck available at a higher price. So basically I was lied to in order to get me to the lot. I suggest any other dealer!

Added $1200 to sale price after I flew to Dallas from San Antonio. True bait and switch. After two plane tickets and two expensive uber rids to and from dealership I'm back in SA, still driving old truck. Surprising to say the least.

I want to start by saying that Melissa and Renae were very nice. It wasn't so much a problem with the people, as the dealership policies. They advertise a price online, which seems great, but when you go you find out that in order to get the online price you have to finance through one of their lenders, which wasn't a huge deal, but also they automatically add a gps tracker-window-tint-scratch-fixer protection that costs almost $2,000 that they say you have to buy. So whatever you're looking at, add $2,000, that's how much it really costs. I ended up getting that off, and was planning on buying the car, but after waiting on someone in the finance department to meet with me, had to leave. Again, I found Melissa and Renae very pleasant to work with, but the dealership policies are a bit shady.

I'm sorry your experience at Grapevine Dodge was not of our usual high quality. I checked with the Sales Manager and he verified that there was $1,899 of adds on the vehicle you looked at. This included after market tint, vehicle recovery system w/monitoring, vehicle interior and exterior protection package, etc. These are items that are added before the vehicle is presented for sale. dealership told me they had a specific car on the lot, knowing I wanted to purchase it .We agreed on a price, went into the dealership to buy it and after two hours, they finally told me they didn't have it, after all. I left. They called me a few days later, apologized, and said they could get it for me, but would need a "locators fee." I gave it to them and was told the car would be on their lot by Monday. The following Thursday I still hadn't heard anything, so after emailing and leaving messages for the sales person, I spoke with someone else who told me they had not even begun the process. To make it worse, nobody knew how to get my money back. I disputed the charge through my bank, instead, and never heard from the dealership again.I purchased a durango elsewhere and had an outstanding experience.

Can I give zero stars? The advertised price did not include $2k worth of "dealer add ons." When I asked for a price sheet to see what the final total bill would be Thomas said he would have to get someone to email it to me. He asked what can we do to get you down here today to pick up. (I was going to have to fly in). I told him I would have to check on plane tickets. I told him to send me the price sheet and I would see about those. This was about 5pm. After An hour of waiting for the price sheet, I called Thomas back. Thomas told me the guy who had to get that ready was busy but he would get it to me. I asked him if he just added 2k onto the advertised price that we had agreed on. He said the advertised price was the base price. I told him that the dealer add ons should have been included in the advertised price and that he should have disclosed them when we're negotiating the price over the phone. He didn't have a response to this. I knew I would owe processing fees and taxes, ( that's why I asked for a final pricing sheet) but these dirty rats were going to let me fly all the way to Dallas before they disclosed 2 grand of add ons! Shady practices! And that's why no one trusts a car deal! If you deal with these guys, make sure you get the "out the door" price in writing!

When I came in to test drive and buy my car they misrepresented what I was purchasing on the website. The color stated it was a blue petticoat but, car was slate Gray. It stated it had room for seven passengers but, only had room for five. The interior had not even been detailed. There was actual trash,debris, and it smelled terrible. The check engine light was on and I was told they would need to put on a catalytic converter. I started this process about 3 weeks earlier by doing a pre approval for credit. I had to contact the dealership at least four times to see if my app. was approved. I even put the vehicle I was interested in. You would think three weeks later the car would be detailed. This was a case of clear bait and switch! Needless to say I left without purchasing a car from them.

The dealer incorrectly priced a Jeep and when I inquired they waited a few days to respond, increased the price of the Jeep, then replied. When I asked for the advertised price they were kind enough to let me know there is a disclaimer on their advertisements that reads "Images, pricing and options shown are examples, only, and may not reflect exact vehicle color, trim, options, pricing or other specifications." Giving them the option to give completely false information in the ad. Their advertisements are not trustworthy and contacting them is a waste of time.

The dealer experience was excellent. However, I drove in from out of town pulling a travel trailer for a local campout. I traded my old truck in for this Tundra. While towing the trailer home a couple of days later I noticed a transmission cooler hose leak. I was lucky to get the truck home without any transmission damage and to the local Toyota dealership for repairs. Could do a better job of making vehicles ready.

Turns out that the Ram 1500 on Car Gurus was mis priced @ $16,900. Price was actually $19,995. Grapevine HONORED YOUR PRICE! They will be the first place I go to next time when looking for a vehicle. Loved the service and attention!

Everyone there was super friendly & helpful with the exception of a member of management. After I purchased my used vehicle I noticed that there was a problem with the passanger side seatbelt. When I took the car back to have it fixed, the sales manager was unsympathetic and unhelpful.
