Only place I think I’ve ever been to look at a truck that I was told I had to do a contract before I could test drive. Strange. They didn’t want the truck to go over 100K miles, I get it but I’m not doing a contract prior to a test drive, won’t return there

Prompt response, drove 2 hours to drive an BMW m3 that's convertable top would not go back up, No one seemed to be concerned about it or get back to me about it getting fixed so i let that one go... Just called me back on a 2006 911, I've asked about weather or not the IMS bearing was replaced and have not had a return call as of yet... I wanna like these guys but so far I'm not impressed.

Cargus.com prices cars according to current market value which can change one day to the next. (based on factors such as availability, similar cars in the market, fuel prices, incentives, etc, etc, etc......) This dealer prices cars based on profits and not the cars actual true market worth, even though they have the Vauto software to do so. Cosmo's reply to being questioned about their high prices was "We do Internet prices" and "our services are above standard" as if to say, we change our cars oil better than anyone else can and you pay more because it's us. In the end they showed bad form, losing the pleasantry of sir and switching to "Alright man" when being faced with the fact that they are just over priced for the market and unwilling to move on their price. Would not recommend this dealer if price and common courtesy is a factor in your vehicle purchase.

I worked with Devan and he was extremely responsive and great to work with. I traveled ~5 hrs to take an in-person look at a vehicle and Devan made sure he was available for me when I was able to arrive and for as much time as I needed. He and the team were not "pushy" and the quality of the Cosmo product is top notch. I did not purchase a vehicle from Cosmo (the vehicle I went to look at sold by the time I made it back home from my visit) but certainly would in the near future.

I made a verbal agreement on the purchase have of the 2011 Jaguar by phone on the 30th , drove to Hickory to get the car on Monday the 1st ,2 hrs drive and when I got there rep told me car was just Sold! So Cosmo Motors can not be trusted

You decided to not leave a deposit on said vehicle.  When a customer chooses to not leave a deposit, they risk the chance of the automobile being sold.  A deposit holds the vehicle for 1 week.  Unfortunately we are unable to hold vehicles off of someones given word as we have held them in the past and customers never show up.

Cosmo cares more about making enough money to support his car collection than taking care of customers. Was in the market for an Acura TL and finally found one that i wanted at Cosmo Motors. The transaction started off great and they even helped me secure financing. I sent proof of income, drivers license, insurance, and agreed upon a price before making the 90 min trip to Hickory to take my car home. That's when things went down hill. Drove the car and loved it but noticed it needed tires. Apparently customer safety isn't important at Cosmo Motors they do the bare minimum needed to pass imspection which is scary for a dealership that doesn't offer warranties. In the finance office signing my buyers order and the price was $1000 more than what we agreed upon on the phone because of a bank fee Chance says. This should have been discussed prior to me making the trip but its really my fault for trusting that everything would be the same as we agreed instead of double and triple checking. I should have walked away then but I was excited to finally end almost a year long search and take the car home. That excitement wore off when Chance and David told me I couldn't take the car home because the bank has a policy that I can't take the car until the deal is funded, which I thought was odd and later found out was a lie but didn't question at the time because ya know, trust. I signed paperwork on Thursday and they said Monday I would be able to take delivery. Monday comes and after not hearing anything from the team after noon I send David a text asking when I could pick the car up. He now states Tuesday morning because things got pushed back. Tuesday I didn't hear anything again in the morning so I call the bank directly to see what the deal is. I get in touch with the funding department, after 2 hours of run around, transferred calls, and wrong numbers, and get my own deal funded because apparently I wasn't a priority to Cosmo Motors. David gets back to me Wednesday and says I can pick the car up and I showed up later that day to do so. Chance says "even though the deal isn't funded he's going to let me take the car" which was a dumb thing to say because if he could do that now why couldn't he do it a week ago and I also got an email from the funding department that morning saying my deal was funded. Chance also agreed to push my 1st payment out 45 days and I signed a contract stating such but wouldn't you believe it when I got my first statement my payment was due 2 weeks earlier than we agreed. These guys are your typical used car dealership that lie and use shady business practices to put a deal together. They overpromise just to underdeliver even on the cookies they send which are not homemade. Minus the fact I bought it from a joke of a dealership I do love my car so I guess there's that.

I’m happy that you love your 2012 Acura but upset over this review after all the hard work we put in so that you would be able to finance it. Our cars go through a 126 point inspection and have to pass NC before even being offered for sale. Brand new Michelin’s come with 10/32’s. I checked our inspection report that is available to every customer and your particular car had 4/32’s at the time of sale, which is above state requirements. Horrible. The car I am interested in was the 2006 evo with 36,997 miles for $37,997.00. I showed 3 different examples of cars currently for sale that were very similar. Every single one was 6k to 7k less. One had 10,000 miles and the asking price was the same. The dealer said it was mint come check it out. I feel sorry to anyone who is going to over pay by at least $7,000.00. I added pictures of the cars for sale in my Google One star review. Overall, horrible experience. Was ready to buy the car right away at a FAIR price. Wasn't even trying to "get a deal". Just like houses, if 5 comps are selling for around the same price and one is 20% higher "just because", why would you buy it? Will never use Cosmo Motors. Good luck.

Colors, options, trims, and history all effect the values on cars. Great selection of nice cars but everything I've been interested in has been over priced. This last inquiry I was told they never come down on a price more than a couple hundred. The first time I went to Cosmo I had a check in my pocket ready to buy a car and all 4 salesman, who looked maybe mod 20s were crowded around a laptop and were bothered by my question to see a certain car. Both times I ended up flying to another state instead.

Had to call the dealer and salesperson several times, no return calls. I filled out credit app and no one even called me about it! Very unresponsive. I was approved by two different banks for deals with no money down. They wanted me to finance through them with $6000 down! Total nonsense. Go elsewhere.

I had contacted Lee at Cosmo's June 3 about 2 Porsches asking for service manual records and was promised them that day or the next . After 82 days Lee's comment was had been busy and to check my spam folder for records - I check it several times a day - probably 400+ looking for his promised info . He never did what was promised and has refused to give me owners contact info for 18 days . Said he / the owner looks at all contacts thru Cargurus so msg that way . Total of cars was over $80 K and I wanted both of them . I've called , but no help that way either . This dealer should be removed until can employ reputable sales force or owner should start selling his cars .

Cosmo Motors contacted us the very next day and we set up to come and test drive the 2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ. Truck was exactly what we were looking for and Matt did an excellent job reviewing the details on the truck. We put a deposit on the truck that night and came back the next evening to pick it up and the truck was all ready to take home. Just signed the rest of the paperwork and we were on our way. Kudos to Cosmo Motors great company to work with will always have a great review from us. Thank you!

Being an Out of Town Buyer of this Fantastic Porsche 911S, I was concerned about the accuracy to the car's condition and drivability, but Matt was an excellent sales professional at Cosmo, described the car very accurately, did a video inspection with me, picked me up at the airport and what a pleasure it was to arrive at the dealership and the car was exactly as described. Less than 45 minutes later, paperwork was completed with a nice test drive and I was off down the road back to Florida. Thanks Matt for making my buying experience a pleasurable one.

The over all experience was awesome! The only issue I had was there was a crack in the windshield that was repaired and the floor mats that are missing but listed in the description. Contacted dealer abut price on car, he gave me a line about NADA nut accounting for how rare the car is(integra gsr) and that he had JUST sold it for advertised price a day later they reduced the price $500 and removed it from their listing 5 days later.

I made arrangments to see the car, drove 200 miles, the car had low tire pressure, missing valve stem coverr, radio didn't work, pulled to the side and a wheel shimmy. Couldn't get it on a lift to look underneath. Walked away. Shame, it was a nice car. Poorly shown.
