Received generic emails. Only invites to visit the dealership. They didn't read my email and questions I had. Very one sided.

Awful. I've never had such a sour taste after attempting to purchase a car. We walked away from the deal at $14.998 and now 3 weeks later, they have the exact same car listed at $16.997 so you'll think if you offer $2k less, you'll feel you negotiated a good deal. We came in with a great interest rate secured, filled out their forms and was told our rate wasn't valid and we'd pay 0.9% more. We said no thanks, asked for our keys and got the BS "what's it going to take to make this happen?" We were done. None of their numbers worked. $699 dealer prep in their ad turned into $1,250 and we couldn't pin them down to explain the difference. We knew what we owed on our trade and they inflated it by $500.00. "If we're over, you'll get a check back" They just made an extra $500 at my expense. Same with our plates, valid through Oct 2020. They were wanting to charge full price for the plates. "You'll get a refund from MVD" Same thing. They're attempting to make money from our license plates.

The pontiac i was interested in had some rust but overall they were helpfull and if our car wasn't broke down we would have gone out there.

It was great we dealt with Rob Riley. He was willing to negotiate and gave us a very fair deal when compared with other dealers we dealt with. Most amazing of all he called his wife who followed us for43 miles while he delivered the car to outrun house. We didn’t leave the dealership until9:30 at night as I had to go to the dealership after I got home from work. That was service above and beyond.

I chose to go with another dealer, and purchased a car through the other dealer. But Chapman Hyundai/Mazda was prompt in responding to my initial contact.

The biggest issue I had with the numbers was the misleading advertised price of $15,993 on CarGurus.com Then there is a surprise Accessories adder of $1,297 which is not optional and it is part of this used car. To me the advertised price of this used car should have been $17,290. Unfortunately buying cars from dealers is still a very stressful and unpleasant experience.

They increased the price 3 times. They told me the transmission was unfix-able and they were going to wholesale it. Then said they were mistaken that it was a rear window motor that was bad and raised the price. Total dishonest sales people. I would never buy a vehicle there.

Advertised with a great price but didn’t disclose the serious scratches all over the doors. Had high miles so we assumed that was the reason for the low price and we drove over an hour across the valley to find this car with damage that needed thousands of dollars to fix. They did offer some reduction in the price but not close to the money it would take to fix the damage. Veda was nice and was knowledgeable about the car. The car sold but we didn’t buy it. Was still a decent deal but I was bummed about driving all that way to find out the real reason the price was reduced.

I was looking at trucks , 2500 HD duramax and they called me straight away , And ask to have me come over for a test drive & have a look at it , but I was Informed about this year 2002 , 2500 HD was a bad year for chevy duramax ,

I did my research on this vehicle and with the help of the salesman Rafael we were able to come to an agreement on the price . I feel I was treated with respect during the negotiating process and would highly recommend Chapman Hyundai to anyone looking for a great car.

Worse experience EVER from a car dealer. Everything the salesman told me he would do, he did nothing of the sort! Very slow if at all at getting back to me about the vehicle and the financing. Just an all around waste of time!
