We did not purchase this particular car since it was only 2 wheel drive, however our fabulous salesman Kenny found us a 4 wheel drive tundra that was everything we wanted. The price was right, and service was fabulous from beginning to end. Everyone was so helpful and great to work with. One of our new dealers we will refer people to and would definitely purchase here again.

Very disappointed in this place. Was paying cash to buy a car and using a trade in. They insisted they could only give me 1500 for my car because they couldn’t turn a profit on it but wow here is my old car on here for a whopping 9k! What a joke! I do love my new car and my sales guy was great. Hopefully they ended up putting a rush on my plates as I need them on the car for work. Carlos was handling this for me and he was also great. Don’t expect honesty if trading a car in. Hopefully the rest of my experience with them goes smoothly.

I used my employee auto buying program and was referred to Capitol as the participating dealer. The first person I spoke with knew nothing about the program and had to talk to his manager. I requested the program price on 2 vehicles and had to make at least 2 follow-up calls before they responded. I was told the vehicles were already priced to sell and they would not give me any program discount on either. They preferred to send one vehicle to auction rather than sell it to me. That vehicle was 2 years older and had @11,000 more miles than the one I bought and was only @$3,000 less than that listed price (and I paid less than that). The point of these buying programs is to avoid the haggling back and forth and the traditional “let me ask my manager” scenario and that didn’t happen. I got the impression they didn’t have any vehicles that would qualify for a program discount.

Asked if car was clean. Salesman told me it was clean no dents or scratches or scrapes. Took the 3 hour drive to only not have the salesman there as we had an appointment but the car was all dented up. Don't trust their word.

We went to see the Venza. Ended with a highlander instead. Dealership is great. Very friendly and welcoming. Lots of cars to chose from. Enjoyed our dealer , Gavin Hovey. Great experience.

We were asked to make an appointment at a specific time with a specific rep, Dan. To see a specific vehicle. Our appointment was confirmed two hours prior. We structured our weekend around the appointment. When we arrived, the rep was not available and the vehicle could not be located. Very frustrating, We won't be buying a car from this dealer.

Very prompt and helpful responses to my emails. Thought I had to get there by 8/31 (a Thursday) and couldn't travel mid-week, so bought from someone else. Later I learned that we actually had until 9/5 before the rebate expired. If they'd told us that at the beginning, it might have made a big difference.

Dealer had vehicle I wanted advertised. Salesman was unwilling to work with out of town buyer. Unable to provide requested photos and information. Multiple calls to managers and finance managers were unreturned. I purchased from a different dealership.

The Rogue SL I went to buy turned out to be an S. Basically it was the entry level car when it was advertised as a upper trim level. I was expecting leather and everything that a high trim level entails. They let me know that the listing was a mistake. I then found another car I liked even more. Even though I paid more the offer that made me on this other car was a very good deal. I left happy. It took much longer than I expected because of the confusion but it worked out in the end. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the of that confusion and the fact they still have the Rogue listed as an SL even after the fact.

Used traditional bait and switch. I called Capitol Toyota on a Car I saw in CarGurus.com. They said it was on the lot and come down to look at it. I then drove 45 miles with my wife to Capitol Toyota - only to be told they could not locate the car I had called on an hour earlier, how about some new cars for a similar price. After over 4 hours of test drives on three cars we saw that none of the units had the features we wanted and asked them to let us know when the original used car was on the lot. Imagine our surprise - they found the car - and it was right around the corner. We decided this was the car we wanted (Prius 4 2016) for the same price as the new Prius 3 2016. Since the dealership was now closed I put a down payment to hold the vehicle. A further search for the same VIN# raised a number of very large concerns. Ultimately they were resolved - but I would not go back to Capitol Toyota again. It was an object lesson in doing your homework thoroughly and talking with other dealers first.

So far, so good. Bought my car here today. Everyone very friendly and knowledgeable. The actual signing took some time, they maybe could use a little extra help in final paperwork when they are busy. Since I just brought the car home today, cannot say whether they stand behind their cars they sale. My salesman was Blake and he was great!!

I wanted to see the car and set an appt. On the day of the appt. the salesman called and said that an employee had checked out the car and taken it home for the night and that it wouldn't be available for the appt. Not good customer service. I decided not to use them.

Not a very good experience.Twice I have traveled to see a car posted on car gurus that capitol toyota had listed. Both times I arrive, the car is no longer available. Just a fishing tool to get me inside and waste my time. It took me 11 days to get my car registration they failed to return to me upon my departure. Never again. The popcorn was delicious. That gets one star.

I traded many emails with the Internet manager. He gave me lots of good advice, which I followed in the end. After I bought a vehicle from a local franchise dealer (his recommendation), I shot him an email to tell him. He wrote back that he was sorry he didn't get my business but was pleased I used a franchise dealer.

Got one real person, but when I asked questions and kept getting automatic responses from new salesperson every couple days. If re ask the question and get new repeated "cold lead" type introductory emails. They don't seem interested in selling their vehicle.

The seller was good bit the finance manager did not want to work with us. He came across as condensing. We are looking else where for a Toyota.

Good experience but wanted to only discuss terms in person and we didn't want to drive three hours to the dealership without something more concrete first. Ended up buying elsewhere.

They did a some what fair evaluation, they set a price they would come down to in selling there truck but would not negotiate further on the value of my trade in. Maybe thats why they still have there truck for sale.

These guys were super helpful with my out-of-state purchase, even accommodating us at 9pm on a Saturday evening.

I test drove this car but it had several problems and the dealership was not willing to reduce the price of the car at all, asking way too high a price for it.

Salesmen were very helpful. One sales manager was very abrupt and impatient. I walked away.
