Nick contacted us right away. We walked in the next day without an appt and he helped us. They had the car. It was nice. But when we started to talk about trading in and overall price they are not willing to negotiate. They were going to give us $1000 for our trade in car. We went someplace else and they gave us $4100. It makes a big difference.

Terrible experience! Went to the dealership to buy a specific car they had on the lot, they could not find the keys so we couldn't test drive it after waiting two hours, the employee and two managers said they would have a key made the next morning so we could drive it, no key and no call back. We called and waited three days and nothing, their customer service was terrible, we were ready to buy the car on the spot and they never called us back about the key.

Terrible !!!!! They were so dishonest ! Told me they had a car and I could pick it up yet it wasn’t even on lot or seen by a mechanic. Then I waited 4 days for them to look at it and get paperwork done to find out they sold it to someone else

We bought a car here and it took 9 hours. There customer service is awful too. The sales guys are fresh out of high school and the manager was 22. Car wasn’t smoged correctly and my husband had to wait an extra 3 hours. Also forget about negotiating they rather loose a sale even over a few bucks. Love my new car but would never buy from CMD again.

This Dealer posts the lowest prices of cars that they do not have. I contacted them about a car for a great price and contacted. They responded telling me about the same model but a different year which was much more expensive. They responded very quickly to all my questions about the cars they have until I asked about the car they posted in which I was interested in. After I sent them the name, the color, and the Vin number they stopped responding to me. I send another E-Mail asking about the car and they still haven't replied and it has been over two weeks. Terrible service just trying to lure people into their shop.

Kevin is the best car salesman in the business. He's polite, he doesn't rush you or pressure you, and makes an instant connection with you right off the bat. I just want to say the ride from Pasadena to Santa Ana was a bit hectic and a bit of the wait as well, but overall, one heck of an experience. Kevin, thank you and as well as the dealership as well. I'm more than happy with my car and will definitely make the trip back when the day comes where i want to get another car!

I wasn't a fan of this dealership. I feel that it was hard to get someone to help me and I spent a long time there waiting for them to get keys, talk to high ups, etc when I wanted to test drive a car or had questions. It seemed that others were there in the waiting room for 30 min before they were helped. They do not have prices on the cars in the lot which makes browsing difficult. The car I wanted to see ended up smelling of smoke that stuck on to my clothes after the test drive. After this experience, I probably won't be coming back to this dealership again. It's not worth the trip.

Purchased car, but don’t think they were fully honest about vehicle history. Looks like there was driver side door damage that was sustained that can only be seen in certain light. Didn’t notice until after the purchase. In their defense, the car has been functioning very well. Happy overall.

went to take look at a vehicle, they will add $2500 to the price being listed, please dont waste your time there !!! most of the vehicle come from repossession. the service is no very friendly. overall not a friendly experience. if they did not even have money to pay for the car , do you think cars are well maintained ?

Went to check out the car and the dealers didn't make an effort to assist me with the car information. I searched for the car myself at the lot and noticed it had too many scratches and nail polish trying to cover some up. Very nice car overall.

Beware, California Motors Direct has a F grade with the BBB. The prices listed are great but add at least $2500 to whatever is listed and that is what you will more likely be asked to pay, add another $1K if you are NOT wanting to finance through them. Once I made a full asking price offer and that I was not looking to finance the car, they stopped corresponding with me. They seem to be more interested in financing car than actually selling cars. I guess they make more money that way.

Extremely unprofessional. I was left waiting for help in the lot for 20 minutes before anyone even offered to help me. Then they after telling me the car wasnt at that certain lot. I called the lot they told me it was at and was tild they'd call me back to confirm wether it was or not. I never recieved that call. I showed up anyways only to find they sold it already.

Bad experience with one of salesperson trying to raise the price 4000 above asking price everywhere else never had a problem with them showing us the screen and he kept arguing that it's against their policy of showing us the screen and we noticed something was wrong because the price was for 5,000 above asking price and it wasn't even added interest

Spoke with a sales person named Nathan he seemed nice and friendly, willing to help until he realized our credit was not the best asked me to get some more information or a couple signer. I called him back twice he never returned my calls or followed up. So we bought our car at a different dealership a couple of days later.

The sales person Adonis, completely ignored my phone calls. Horrible costumer service! The worst dealer I have ever been to. The response was quick, but once I was there I waited over an hour before he came to me, once he ran numbers and sounded excessive I told him I didn't agree, I very politely told him I was to come back, after that I called, called and called and he never returned my calls

Called to verify car was still available before driving 40 miles. The salesman, Jose, said it was available so we headed over. When we get there, we were told that it was not available for viewing because it had to go through inspection since they JUST got it in, even though it had already been listed for sale for almost 3 weeks at this point. It was also listed as having no accidents on the website, but the Carfax said otherwise. Shady!

Went to purchase the vehicle. They wouldn't accept my approval letter from my credit union which i contacted and said that's the only approval letter they send out. They either approve someone or don't. Dealer wouldn't accept it when I went to the credit union to get a typed up letter in addition to the approval letter the vehicle was sold. My credit union is a big company who says they always have problems with this dealer accepting their approval letters.

TOTAL BAIT Went in to the dealer looking for this vehicle . at first they said they were pulling the car up so I waited for ten mins . Then they said they couldn't find the key . This is the oldest trick in the book to bait someone I drove 35 miles to see this vehicle complete waste of time .

The car was ok Needed tires but the concern was the extra fees beside tax that drove the price up it was over $9000 when all was done We decided against it Probably would be appropriate to disclose additional fee prior to the visit to be fully aware of the cost.

Very worst experience I have ever experience buying a vehicle . So many hidden fees they mark the the car up more than it's worth and it's a repo car. The salesman (Francisco) is very rude will not work with you and then he threatens you by telling you if you don't sign the papers today the price will change. The vehicle was very dirty ask them to clean it up came back the second time to make the deal and the car was still not fully detailed . I walked in with $20,000 cash and was going to finance the rest of the vehicle and we still couldn't make a deal because of the dealer mark ups they have fees and everything they'll tell you is a lie , they told me the car has gap and theft recovery and I had to pay for it because they install it on the all the cars ! the buyer should always have the choice of having it or not especially on a used vehicle and they say it's mandatory you have to purchase but then after numerous attempts of trying to get the price that I need for my monthly payment he says OK he can take it out that I don't have to get the gap in death recovery first they go from saying you have to buy it today saying you don't have to buy it which does not make any sense these guys are straight crooks ! you should have a choice on what you want to pay for not to be forced to purchase something that your vehicle does not need so they can make more money. A $39,999 vehicle was marked up at the end the day to 47,000 how is that possible if they're not ripping you off there doing something wrong. I am definitely going to report them to the Better Business Bureau I hope the owner contact me so we can resolve this situation because he is running a very very bad Business and they need to talk to his management about customer service it is so bad it is sad don't understand how they Stay in business actually I do know by ripping people off. Thank you Francisco for making my car buying experience the worst experience but ever!!!!!!

Worst experience ever on a dealership...The big problem? THE PRICE OF THE CAR. They advertised a price online and then you found out that plus that price, there is a lot of hiden fees coming from nowhere, i wish I can upload a picture because I have the final price disclosure and it is CRAZY!!! Like: $14.999 Price of the car(as advertised) OK $995 Dealer price ???? (They apply this fee to all cars) $812 Tranfer ???? (I was buying the car onsite) $513 License ( They say DMV stuff) OK but a little high $30 Registration ???? ( No idea ) $37 Smog ???? DMV said cars 2013 and newer doesn't need SMOG for change of ownership but they sais they do it anyway wich I dont get why I have to pay $1386 Taxes OK but not sure if they also tax they fees So my total was $19468 ou of the door for a 15k car, without any waranty or extras!!! Hilarious!!! And I have to listen to the dealer guy( very nice person by the way) explained to me that they have a REALLY looow prices, and that is why they charge those fees!!! Of course they only advertise those prices to have you go into they dealership!$ He explained all those crazy numbers like it was nuts we are talking about!!! I don't care!! They are scam. A $995 fee just because they want to!!! i dont think so!!!Ask for a disclosure of your out of the door price because they charge more! I'm not sure if it's legal or not, but they do so! This dealer has many used cars that we can choose. Good service , they print the car fax so that we can trust the history of the car. We request something and they can do for us. High recommendation to everyone to look for the used car.

I purchased a 2015 Z51 convertible Atlantic design edition. I spent 3-4 days talking & probably driving my salesman crazy. He was absolutely helpful & a pleasure to deal with. After we went to the dealership, made our effortless deal, we were introduced to the F&I gentleman. He was by far the most personable & friendliest F& I guy I ever dealt with. Overall I had a fantastic experience & would purchase a vehicle from them in a heartbeat!

Do not bother with this dealership!!!! I have been trying to get an out the door estimate for one of their vehicle for days. You think as a buyer who is ready to buy they would be more enthusiastic about gaining your business. The car salesman i spoke with sounded really annoyed that i was asking about the car. He provided me one word answers, and nothing descriptive about the car. He would not provide me with an out the door estimate unless i did the "Get Approved" application on their site. He told me once i completed that, that they would contact me immediately afterwards. I completed the application but they never called me back, nor the next day. Also reading from other reviews, they tact on thousands in extra dealer ship fees. I am glad they never called me back. This is the worst service i have ever experience at a car dealership. Do your selves a favor and find another car.

I Do not recommend this place!!!!!! This guys specially """Alfredo"""add Fees to the original prices by $$$ thousands , calling them (Dealer Fees) and will not tell you about them, but it will be in your contract, my advise to my fellow shoppers is check and double check before uou sign anything. The attitude change once I found out and I started asking questions. Good look to everyone, I will not go back with this guys.

Will NOT recommend I had a horrible experience trying to buy a car here in the past two days. I came in knowing what I wanted, Gus was the car salesman we were shuffled off with even though I asked for Chris(since he's the one who contacted me in the first place). He showed us the car and was not friendly at all nor did he know anything about the car we were looking at. My dad knew more just from looking the car over. Worst customer service. Told me an estimated price for my trade in that was going to go towards the car I purchased from here and they told me the next day when I had the loan ready to go that the price wasn't going to be anywhere near the price they told me. Listing price was 13,199...came back the next day to buy the car and trade mine in and they offered me less that $1,000 trade in for my BMW and added about $3,000 to the list price. What the heck is a dealership fee? And why is it $995? And when we questioned what it was he had the audacity to ask my dad if we have ever purchased a car? My dads almost 60..pretty sure he's bought plenty in his time. Everyone I've spoken to has never heard of such a thing. And they don't negotiate the price AT ALL even after they add all these surprise fees. And while we were trying to see what we could work out he just sat on his phone and acted so rude..must not need the commission because he ignored us and didn't try to sell it at all. They wouldn't even go down $500 from the price. The area is not very nice but they seem to think they're in Beverly Hills selling cars for way over what they are worth. Within the hour of leaving this place I had another dealer emailing me telling me there was no dealership fee and I could get the same exact car but a 2016 for 14k right out the door. He had better customer service through an email. Sad. DON'T GO HERE.

I called to ask for a car, I gave them the stock number and they told me they had it, I went for it. After I drove an hour and a half they told me that they had already sold it a few days ago, but they had another one in the lot, Of course much more expensive.

Made initial contact inquiring about an S2000. They were prompt to respond. Reading over reviews that stated they pad their fees, I asked them about an itemized breakdown in cost and informed them that I would be bringing in my own financing. Never got a response back.

They use the bait and switch way of doing business. They leer you into their dealership with a low price on their website and then they keep adding fees and profit until the price is ridiculous. Not a very transparent way of doing business. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

The dealer had great customer service but that's the problem. Everyone was friendly but they were there to sell a car. Every rebate they offered I had to jump through hoops and I missed one now the deadline has passed. Even the vehicle was nice but hid key flaws. Overall nice salesmen but say no to the rebates or free stuff. Just take it off the cost of the car

For the car I wanted, the price seemed good but when I got there they told me that I have to pay 3500$ for fees while it shouldn't be more that 1500$. They said we get 1000$ for our paper works and 1000$ for DMV and 1300 for tax. It is insane because all the dealers get around 200- 300$ for both DMV+paper works. They just wasted my time to get there and they behave so rude. If you think your time is valuable don't trust their prices they finally ask for much more money than every other dealers

I talked with Marcos and he said the vehicle wasn't there yet but was receiving some cleanup (or maintenance) and would be available in about 1 week (1-1/2 - 2 weeks ago). I have sent another request for information, but was never contacted back yet

Posted price 13,699 final price 17590 without %interest. On their web sites is possible do pre financing estimate and if you have credit 730 and above you get 1,9% IRT but in their shop you never get it even if your score is 850. 2000 shop fees etc.... only lies lies lies!!! Called in but spoke to a sales rep. Asked questions and he was in a rush to get off the phone. Rude. Drove 4 hours to go see the s2000, side marker lights were hanging down, car was dirty, looked like it has been neglected, we left right away, definitely not a presentable dealer

The dealer originally posted the car at $20,999. They wouldn't come down in price or even entertain the idea of coming down, then the next day they went up in price to $22,999. They since have lowered to $21,799. Don't know how they are in business because they definitely aren't motivated to sell cars. Wasted my time.

We got home and found out the only key that we received did not fit the driver's door. This was not disclosed to us. They always had the door already open. Simple maintenance was not done. Air conditioning filter cover missing, gas cap holder missing. Oil change way pass due. Worn out belts

Terrible. Dealer did not come to greet us. The dealer didn't even have the car that was advertised on the lot. When I asked to test drive a vehicle he said, "you don't even like that car". The dealers have the worse customer service. I will never return.

I called to ask about a specific car, and the dealer told me it was there for me to look at. I drove well out of my way to see the car within the hour and when I arrived they said that the owner's father was out using that car, that it is still for sale, but is not available to be looked at and they didn't know when it would be. Your best bet is to go to ANY other dealer before you go to this one. They are dishonest.

Genuinely disinterested with helping potential buyers. Prices are not on the vehicles so you have to rely in your smartphone. Cars were not cleaned professionally inside (I looked at five). The website lists CASH ONLY price which has a tiny disclaimer you are sure to miss (like I did) at the bottom of the web page. Overall opinion of this place - Shady.

i visited this dealer today to see a 2010 camaro LT2 RS the vehicle was said to not have ever been in any accident but.... there were clear signs the car had an entire front end replaced, the core support was pulled out from damage the grille was damaged from when the paint was buffed, There were at least 20 dings on the car, every thing besides the roof and trunk need painted, and much more was wrong paint and body wise, the rear tires were completely bald and completely flat there was not a hint of any tred on them, every rim was gashed. there were carpet stains threw out the car, it was advertised as a non smoker car it was absoutly not the previous owner was most definitely a heavy smoker. The sales man Freddy was rude to begin with. He said that all the body could be fixed by some one for $50. are you kidding me?, working for a body shop i knew absolutly there was at the least $3000 in paint and body repair needed. I wasn't offered or would have wanted to take it for a test drive. absoutly terrible service. Also after pointing out all of the very very obvious damage and problems they would not work with the price all they kept pushing was "well it drives fine so thats all that matters".....terrible place to buy a car
