The worst experience ever and cars were extremely dirty and smelly I could not get a straight answer on price of vehicle i will not ever do business with dealership nor can I recommend anybody visit this business ever I truly feel the Better Business Bureau need to Investigate them this business is the reason why use car lots have such bad names. After Test driving the dirty vehicle I did a walk around the car only to notice they spray-painted over rust dents and scratches

I got an email. took the car for a spin. Car had a noise coming out of the back Dealer tried to make up some excuse saying the tires had cupping and once the tires wore true it would go away. I recognized it was bad wheel bearings and you could see the car did not even have a tow hitch. I bought the car, had the wheel bearings fixed plus it had a leaky front strut. $1700 later I know have a good functioning car. I would not recommend these guys. NOT TRUSTWORTHY

The car was filthy inside and out. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a friendly salesman who told us that there was a special car he had in mind for us after we looked at the Subaru, the car we had come to look at. While looking at the Subaru he proceeded to tell us the reasons we shouldn't buy it, brakes, tires and then moved us onto another car very quickly which he didn't know the details of - getting the engine size incorrect. We left the dealership feeling that we had had a narrow escape.

Sales people were very nice! Car was idling high when parked. Dealership didn't have the Carfax and instead shared the computer screen with another report instead of giving you a copy of the car history. Drove another car but it was not clean even though the sales person said it was detailed. Good selection of cars but over priced.

All I have to say is dealers are too high. I'm gonna try a private owner next time because I don't want to end up paying double the price of the car in interest. Yikes! This dealer allowed me to make an appt with him only to raise the price $500. This raise happened twice. At the end of the negotiating, he says my earlier saving's of $3,600 was sufficient enough for a cash deal. By that time, I had already spent some of it. Dealer wasn't very forth coming about the types of cash deals they offer.

First spoke to Jose to view a car. Got there and asked what was done inspection wise of the vehicle. His response was they do a thorough inspection of the motor and transmission and I asked for examples and all he could tell me is that they change fluids, check brakes, and tires. Then I was passed to Marcell because I think I asked to many questions for Jose's liking. Marcell was a nice guy, he gave me time with my wife to discuss the car and checked in with us in a couple minutes. We ended up test driving the car and the check engine light came on. Got back to the dealership and went our separate ways. Called a couple days later to set up to have the car taken to a shop for an inspection, that's when they gave me the run around. Marcell said he had to find someone to run the car to the shop said to give him 15mins and he would call me back, hour later I called him back. He said he was still working on it and to give him 10 more mins and he'd call me back. Half hour later I called him back but he was not there, someone told me he'd had left the dealership and would be back in half an hour. I made 8 more calls in the span of 4hrs trying to get ahold of Marcell and 2 were to his cell phone. I think I didn't get a response cause they knew the car had problems and figured they could sell it to someone else! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Pros: responded quickly, were cordial Cons: sales reps don't authorize the final deal (?!) The sales reps seem agreeable to any price you suggest, but in the end have to get approved by the boss. Just let me negotiate with someone who has some authority and is not a puppet!

While the staff that I was dealing with was nice. I ultimately wasted my time with them. They posted the vehicle that I was interested in I called and spoke to a Marcel who was very nice and got me to come down to Pleasanton which is about an hour away from where I lived. I went on a test drive with Terry whom was also very nice. I was sold on the car and filled out all of the appropriate paperwork and they ran my credit. Apparently everything was fine and that I was going to be able to finalize everything the next day. Marcel said he would call me around noon. I ended up having to call him. He said he was running late and that he would be at the dealership in 15 minutes.I waited about two hours before I called again and he didn't respond. I called again trying to see what the heck was going on because to my knowledge everything was fine. No answer from him. Terry called me back saying that I would have to wait another day because they didn't want me to have trouble with the vehicle because the check engine light was on and that I would hear back from them later on in the day. Well at that time it was about 2 o'clock. I called back around six and was finally told the truth that the car needed more work and that someone put the wrong price for the vehicle online and that if I wanted the car I would have to pay around 10k for the vehicle. Even with the low mileage the market value for that car is around 6k to 8k. I feel that whatever work needed to me done they were trying to tack that onto the price of the vehicle. to recoup their loss. I'm extremely upset especially because they ran my credit and wasted a lot of my time when I could've already been in a different vehicle.

Called about a car i was intetested in. I asked if it was still available because i reside in a different state and its a 12 hour drive. They said said it was available. I said perfect i'm heading that way. I finally get there. Guess what cars been sold but we can put you in a different vehicle. I said i wasnt interested & the LEAST you could do is tell me that the csr was sold then i wouldnt have wasted my time...thanks guys

" Say, NO to MO." This dealership was TERRIBLE! Don't go here! Jose, the Salesperson was very nice. He really tried to close the deal but "MO" the finance guy wasn't willing to budge (Ironically, they dropped the price by $300 the very next day!). I drove 2 hours to test drive a PT Cruiser Convertible. I and made an offer in line with KBB Private/Retail/wholesale. I had been researching the problems and prices with these Convertibles for quite awhile. Mo wouldn't budge that evening. The following day via text messaging, we made a deal. Jose confirmed it, via text message do I got my Cashier's check from the bank during my lunch break and drove all the way back to Pleasanton after work. I arrived there around 7pm. They had me wait until the last customer 9pm - long after they closed. I didn't mind waiting as I knew we already had a deal, I had the cash and we just needed to do the psperwork and get the keys. Much to my surprise, when I gave Mo the check, suddenly it was "No Deal!" What??? He said, "Well we paid X-amount so we can't sell it for less." Well Mo, guess what? You paid too much when YOU bought it. You didn't do your homework. That's not the customer's problem. Everybody knows P.T. Cruisers have a very low, resale/wholesale value. To his credit, Jose continued to try and close the deal but apparently MO continued to said, "No". Fellow U.S. MILITARY VETERANS do NOT GO here!!! MO will not treat you well. The sales guys were nice and Jose was nothing but professional. I don't know how an employee manages to keep their sanity at Auto World in Pleasanton. Please see the other YELP reviews. Those folks are saying the exact same thing I am. "Just say, "NO to MO and AutoWorld.com of Pleasanton!"

Terrible. We had an appointment and the person who set the appointment already went home. The car that was advertised was not an AWD. They knew we were looking for a specific type of vehicle and they did not have what we were looking for. A total waste of time.

I ended up purchasing the vehicle however the radio was missing but they are replacing it and some of the sales men are very inappropriate in front of guests, while on my test drive my mom stayed behind and they started cussing and talking about male reproductive parts, however when we told the owner he made sure to talk to all of them and got it resolved

They were selling the 2001 Honda Prelude for $10999. It's absurd amount of price for the car. The salesman told me it was a collectors. I was a serious buyer but not for the amount they were selling the car for. I feel for the other buyers that gotten or in the process of taken advantages by this Hawks. Sell the cars for what it's honest worth not doubling or tripling the prices on them. It's already hard enough for the customers to earn a living in this era, to have roofs over their heads, pay bills & kids to support. This Hawks are taking advantages of them by raising the prices on USED cars w/o warranty. Where's the American DREAM??? They have no Heart, whatsoever!!!!(((((

Nice sales guy but was hit with a lemon law buy back with a branded title car wasn't disclosed until I drove all the way out there and not to mention when I request for a test drive I was on my way out the driveway and the sales person ask are you going to be paying cash I said no he replied "sorry sir we can't finance this car cause it's title !! What a waste of time moral of story make sure it's a clean title car always

Nelia Yates did respond to an email directly to their site. She was very accommodating and came in on her day off. Everyone was very helpful and worked with us to make our car buying experience a good one. Unfortunately for them, we had driven a car in our own town the day prior and it was in better shape and had less miles. So we opted to go back and purchase the car in our town. Prospective buyers should know that the vehicles are on consignment, from auctions or other arrangements and they are not fresh from the detail shop. If you can look past that you will be able to get a good deal.
