First, I responded via CarsGuru and only received the generic response from the dealership's email account, not once but 3 times. I was then emailed by a sales person and I had asked them some questions only to be told that I needed to contact the internet manager. After finally speaking to a salesperson, they apologized for the bad responses and told me that the truck had sold. (I understand that this happens, it is what came next that is unbelievable) I continued to give the salesman a chance on another published add. After a couple phone calls and text messages, I set up a time to come down and drive the truck. I let my salesman know that I had to RENT a car and I was going to BUY the truck at the advertised price plus tax. The salesman told me that this sounded great, and we confirmed it with the sales manager. (The sales manager even called me to make sure I was coming to see the truck) I arrived to find the truck had a serious scratch / dent that was not in any of the pictures and was assured that it would be taken out of the price. Take the truck for a test drive, drove fine, and said "lets wrap this up". Here is where things went sideways...my salesman said that they had to go get "my numbers" and to have a seat. When my salesman came back, he presented a price that was almost $5000.oo HIGHER then advertised and discussed. I was turned over to a "sales coach" and I explained how this was "bait and switch". He called me "hostile" and told me I should have read the "fine print" on there adds. I laughed and told him I would contact BBB and left. I will NEVER set foot on any of their dealerships ever again. This is why people now buy cars & trucks online as if they were sneakers. I will be now joining that crowd. I reported this to the BBB in Charlotte. What they will do, I have no idea. "
