Of the many versions of the Ford Mustang, the Shelby GT350 is the one most at home on the track. It first arrived as a 2016 model and saw noteworthy improvements in 2019. This year, 2020, is the Shelby GT350’s final one on the market. The Shelby GT350 comes in Base and R trims. Either one gets you a 5.2-liter flat-plane-crank V8 packed with 526 horsepower, 429 pound-feet of torque, and an 8,250-rpm redline. As a proper sports car, the only option is a six-speed manual transmission, and all power goes straight to the rear wheels. You can add six-way powered, heated, and cooled front seats clad in leather, navigation, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system for an extra cost. In order to celebrate the Shelby GT350’s final year, the 2020 model offers a Heritage Edition Package. That gets you the iconic Wimbledon White paint, Guardsman Blue stripes, and unique badge coloring, a throwback to Ford’s 1965 Mustang fastback coupe. Safety-wise, every Shelby GT350 comes with a rear-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic monitoring.
