Outside of a few legendary performance models, the Lexus catalog has been far more oriented to luxury and comfort than speed and aggression. The automaker does make F Sport variants of some models, which bring sharper styling and unique interior colors but do not affect the engine performance. The ES F Sport is one of Lexus’ more recent F Sport additions, having debuted for the 2019 model year. The car features a naturally aspirated V6 engine making a respectable 302 horsepower, but it’s far off the blistering performance numbers put up by Germany’s finest.
