When i received the call I was told that he was thankful that I called and that the price was entered wrong (on their dealer site and CarGurus) and that the correct price is $48,000 and that they have $45,000 into it! He told me they were going to call Gurus and make the correction in price right away and also to their site. Mind you, this conversation was 2 weeks ago, and both their dealer site and Gurus still show the lower bait price. I feel i was baited into calling with a cheap price listed and that isn't fair and shows dishonesty when it's not changed or taken down. P.S. i was called back 2 days after my initial call and told they were not going to be able to sell the truck because because of a stolen passenger door. Who does that??"

We worked with the internet sales person, who was in a different building than the used car people. He was not there for our scheduled appointment. He came over quickly and we test drove the van. They gave us what we felt our trade was worth. Shame on us we didn’t do the research and we overpaid on the used vehicle by about $2,500. The buying process was incredibly easy and they didn’t pressure too hard for upsells, but they snuck in a $275 anti theft fee which is a bogus upcharge that you should avoid paying. Their doc fees were slightly higher than other dealerships. The vehicle was immediately in the shop for several issues that had not been repaired during their inspection (Don Hinds requested that we take the vehicle to a different dealership for repairs). Most of the repairs were covered under the manufacturers warranty but there was a broken trim piece that was not covered. It appeared that the dealership tucked it in without actually fixing it. Then the moment we moved the seat back we saw it. When we asked for it to be covered we were told that it was sold as is and would not be covered. That’s fine. It was only $220 but slightly annoying since we way overpaid for the car and they charged us the bogus fee. I don’t like the van. That is not Don Hinds fault. It has a lot of really weird noises at certain RPMs. I don’t want the vehicle so I emailed our sales rep to see what they would give us to trade in and he said to bring it in and they would appraise it. I asked him to just give me an estimate by email since they just sold it a week ago and he did not respond to my email. Overall, just what you’d expect from a typical car dealership. If they have a vehicle you like, go ahead and go there but just be smarter than we were. "
