But Brookdale was a shock to us. I specifically was looking to check out the 2013 Honda Ridgeline they advertised around Thanksgiving. I was pre- approved by my credit union and the 2013 fit my budget. The dealer knew it was the 2013 I was looking to check out and encouraged me to come in right away. But when we got there, there was no 2013 Honda Ridgeline. The salesperson didn't know where it was. And never contacted me that the 2013 wasn't available. We got to test drive a 2014. And that's when the salesperson started pressuring us down the path of thinking about the 2014. But after reviewing the financing it was way out of range for our budget. So my wife asked about the 2013 again to see when it would arrive and we could test drive it. The salesperson's response to her was demeaning and rude. I'd had enough and we left. I rented a car for a couple of days until I found another vehicle and a dealership that was respectful to my family. Brookdale still had the 2013 advertised days after we were told it was "lost and who knows when it would be available". I know not all the Luther dealerships are like Brookdale and maybe not everyone there was like the sales team we interacted with but I'll think twice before heading to a Luther dealership and they won't be my first pick when I shop for a vehicle again. "
