Wanted to take it to a mechanic first to get it looked over. They were pretty insistent on me going to firestone, which is where they get their oil changes and simple fixes done. I agreed to go to firestone but after I left Nextcar I decided against it and took it to another mechanic. He looked it over and said it looked great, until he took off the transmission fluid cap. There was corrosion and evidence that the car is burning transmission fluid. I then took it to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion, he said the same as the first. They both seemed to agree that this car will only last another 20-30k miles before the transmission goes. When I told Next car that I couldn't buy it and why, they didn't seem concerned, just said "good to know." But now I see that the Sale is pending. Hopefully this person reads my review or has a mechanic look it over before purchasing. "

When I arrived and looked at the car, the sunroof was partially open so I opened it up the rest of the way. I discovered bubbling rust had been freshly painted black. I also found that on the hitch and could see black overspray on the bumper. The cars tires were shot and mismatched. The brakes were shot and the car was not even clean. I won't go back."
