They verified the car was available. I arrived at the dealership 65 min later and asked for the sales rep that they had provided in their info. She looked at me funny and went to have a talk with someone. Unfortunately the car had sold. They said the person had gone to the bank. I asked if they typically hold cars without a deposit. They said no. Something just didn't add up. I asked to see the vehicle and they showed it to me. Engine was cold. I get that vehicles sale all the time, but then someone else said the person went to the bank hours ago. If they had a potential buyer, they could have just said so to begin with. And, I wouldn't have wasted my time."
