2012 Honda CR-Z EX Review
by William

One of the best "fun" 2-seaters for someone on a budget.

Don't expect a full on racecar but rather a spirited commuter car and you'll have close to the right attitude before approaching this car. With a 5-speed manual available, launches can be as urgent as you need given the plentiful amount of torque available immediately from the (small) electric motor. I average about 40 mpg on 50/50 city/h...

Avg. Dealer Rating: (16 reviews) "Emailed this dealer and offered 44k for a car listed at $45999; I got an email back asking if that offer included tax and title, then another indicating we “...have a deal” if you agree to pay taxes and title. The next day On my way to the bank I got a call saying $46000 ($1 over the original advertised price) was the bottom dollar on the car plus taxes and title, and I saw they had raised the advertised price online to $47999. This has been the shadiest car dealer I’ve ever dealt with. Buyer beware, and advertised price means nothing. In their own words, an email that states “you pay taxes and tags and we might have a deal” after me offering 44k for the car means zero. Not a formal offer and the market changed daily as I was just told by the used car manager. Shady. Glad I didn’t make the 700 mile round trip to buy the cart. Hopefully this business does not reflect the practices of all GM franchises but I plan to ask them ASAP. "
