• totally under estimated this car

  I am used to big muscle cars and rwd cars, so down sizing to this was a tad bit awkward for me. but wow was I blown away when I drove this car. it had the GM Stage one kit on it when I bought and wow does that really wake up that little 2.0 turbo engine. a couple other simple mods and you are quickly over 300 hp in them. and for only being like 2900 lbs makes it alot more fun.

• Sporty and Economical

  This Cobalt is fast, responsive, easy to handle, and gets good gas mileage. Low maintenance keeps this vehicle very economical. There's not much room for passengers and the trunk is small. This car is perfect for students or someone on the go!

• great car for what it is

  the cobalt ss is a great car. even stock. the biggest issue is the stock brakes are terrible. i replaced them with hawk pads and r1 concept rotors and steel brake lines. Shifting is as good as it gets rivaling a acura integra. The dealer messed up the gms1 tune by installing the wrong o-rings on the Tmap sensors which made the car run poorly. All in all a great car with tons of features like the RPD which is a blast to use due to the multifunction capability. only bad thing is cheap build quality with plastic everywhere.
