2007 Lexus GS 450h Review
by HHopper

Absolutely terrific car.

This car has it all...performance, handling, luxury, high tech, styling and economy. I've never driven a car with better response. Whenever you step on the accelerator the electric motor gives instant response...and it's quiet. This is the best car I have ever owned.

Avg. Dealer Rating: (14 reviews) "This was one of the stranger experiences I've had while car shopping. Lots of mansplaining and not being taken seriously, which is honestly why they lost the sale as it was the car I wanted before I interacted with them. They made me feel like my questions were odd: Can I take it to a mechanic before buying? Can I test drive the car? etc. were met with "Why would you want to do that, how do we even know you're serious" type answers. The vibe during my entire visit was a bit antagonistic and one of reluctance to deal with me...not sure if they were trying to play it cool so that they had the bargaining leverage, or if they thought I was just there to waste their time for some reason...but it was a huge turnoff. They also kept trying to distract me from my focus on sticker price, and at one point I had to be very blunt and ask them to stop doing that. The car is overpriced and my attempts to point that out were ignored and even scoffed at, at times. They KBBed it in 'Excellent' condition and it definitely is more in the 'Good' category. The interior is in decent but not excellent shape, for example, with nail polish stains on a seat belt and some fraying of the seating. All of this is to say that while I understand haggling is not fun for most and always injects a bit of antagonism into the air, this felt much worse than my other experiences and actually made me go running back to the dealership right across the road, where I was treated respectfully and fairly and like an adult. (I look very young and am female, gasp)."
