2007 Cadillac CTS 3.6L RWD Review
by Robert

loved it and the good outweighed the bad, so i would reccommend one for sure

the last gen CTS was fairly good looking with the right package/wheels, i liked how different it was, the interior however wasn't up to class standards but i'd still own that gen CTS again. espeacially since you can get killer deals on 3.6 sports now, there good looking and handle extremly well for a luxo cruiser

Avg. Dealer Rating: (17 reviews) "Auto Advantage sold me a Car that needed thousands of dollars in repairs the first day I bought it. This car had a blown head gasket and shuts off while I’m driving. The turbo fan blade is worn and needs to be replaced soon, the driver’s window motor is broken, the windshield wiper hose is broken and the convertible top motor seizes up. Within 2 weeks of owning this piece of garbage, I had to overhaul the head gaskets, replace the timing belt and replaced the throttle cable. I have spent money on diagnostic labor trying to figure out why this car shuts down while I’m driving. It’s either a fuel injection problem or a mystery electrical failure. The only way to find out is to replace expensive systems until we get the right one. I’ve spent $3000 on repairs for a $5800 car. I can’t even sell this piece of junk because it would shut off during a test drive. The same day I bought my 2007 PT Cruiser I knew it had a blown head gasket. I should have known they had something to hide when I had to make an appointment for a test drive. Both times I went to the dealership Marc was driving the car to blow out all the white smoke and burning oil coming from the exhaust when I arrived. The mechanic they use (Gil’s Automotive) is also a crook. There is no way he couldn’t tell the head gasket needed to be fixed. He also lied about replacing my windshield wiper nozzles. He didn’t mention on the inspection He disconnected my horn because it won’t turn off when the anti theft system turns on for no reason. I had my car towed to Gil’s to give Auto Advantage a chance to fix my car. After a week I hadn’t heard from them. Gill lied and said he hadn’t looked at it yet. That was a lie because I went there the 1st day and took a picture of it up on the rack being diagnosed. When they finally admitted the head gaskets were blown they offered me only $1200 to fix it! It cost me $2000 for my honest mechanic to fix it. This car is not safe to drive. It died while I was turning left in one of the busiest intersections in San Diego. I was nearly sideswiped by cars going 55 MPH. They haven’t bothered to call me back when I told them my car stopped 8 times in one week. They sent a text that said “I do my best to select a clean, low mileage and well maintained car. That being said they are used cars and sometimes serious problems happen.” I am disgusted that Marc lied to me, hid all the problems this car had and sold me an unsafe car that he knew I would drive my children in. These scumbags should not be allowed to be in the car business. "
