He gave me his card and I came back after my first visit to show my boyfriend the van I was (very) interested in. When I first saw the van it was dirty inside. It had garbage stuffed in between the rear seats and the interior needed an obvious cleaning. George told me that the van would be cleaned upon purchase, but really, shouldn't it have been cleaned already? Especially since it has been on their lot a while now? Upon my second visit I let George know my family would come by the next day to pick up the van and have our family friend mechanic check it out, but there was a check engine light on that needed to be serviced first. I was assured it would be taken care of first thing in the morning and my family would have no issue taking the van off the lot. He had my cell phone number, so when my family came by to take the van and it wasn't ready or able to be taken yet, I was disappointed. I called his cell and told him so, and asked to be called back. Never happened. A couple days later I called and spoke to a manager, because at this point I felt blown off. The manager made light of my complaint and said that of course they wanted to sell me the van, "it's how they eat". Well, it's been a week now and nobody has bothered to call me. I really was very interested in this particular van. But the lack of communication and customer service from the top down at this dealership, not to mention the lack of cleanliness, has made me resolve to avoid purchasing any vehicles from this dealership moving forward. It's obvious that customer service is not their focus. I guess they have had enough to eat for now."
