2003 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer 4WD Review
by Travis

2003 Excursion EB 4x4

The perfect SUV - tows the 10,000 lb boat, hauls the family safely and aggravates greenies...what's not to like? The V10 is a fantastic motor - shifts well with the 4R100 transmission. Gas mileage is a bit dismal - but the initial cost of diesel would have taken me 5 years of driving to even out. That's at 15mpg for the diesel and 11 for the V10...

Avg. Dealer Rating: (8 reviews) "Replied with phone call saying come on down. Didn't answer questions. Would like some answers before driving over an hour to look at an over priced vehicle. At least give an indication that you will come down on price to get people to come to your lot. It's the Internet age people! We can easily look up the value of vehicles. Why wouldn't you respond to emails accepting offers or even countering them? People don't want a phone call saying come on down let's see what we can work out. I already know kbb value and I willing to pay it. Why come down to hear you explain why you are trying to sell it for 3000 more dollars?? My advice is to make your money on the trade in and ask a little more then kbb not 3000. I'm guessing you will turn over a lot more cars. This applies to all dealers because I experienced the same at every dealer I dealt with. Hire someone to respond to emails with fair prices and you guys will sell more cars. Why have the option to send a dealer an email and not get an email back???? If I wanted a call back I would have called in the first place! Simply respond to emails with a lowered price then advertised and I bet you get more foot traffic and sell more more cars!!!"
