I owned two, 1979 and 1984. I never had a problem or breakdown with either one. Probably the best cars that I ever owned in terms of reliability and fuel economy. I am picking one up today. It's a 1982 four door with 30,000 miles. The present owner has just replaced the originals. Dry rotting, I suspect. Easy on gas, solid build and reliability. It may be GM's best built compact car.

was a winter beater for me I bought for $200 I beat on that car hard for the year and a half I owned it till it was ready for the scrap yard. I had this car air borne and upon landing I broke all 4 coil springs after which it looked like a low rider lol it was full of dents scratches but it did have character.
