Volkswagen dealerships near me (Springfield, MA)

They were responsive, told me the car was in great shape and available. I drove an hour and a half to see the Jeep. It was clean, but during the test drive the Jeep would pop out of first gear. When reporting this to some people in the dealership an employee said that this was a known issue. I asked that their mechanics look into it and get back to me. 3 days later they said they weren’t going to sell me the car and they were going to send it to auction. It’s shady that they were trying to sell a Jeep with a known transmission issue, and it’s shady that they’re going to send it to auction where it’ll sell for higher than it would’ve been to fix the issue or deal with me on it. I would not do business with this dealership

Attentive and helpful. Not much wiggle room on negotiation. Overall, good customer service.
