Toyota dealerships near me (Lancaster, PA)

We had driven almost an hour to do a test drive with a Sorento 2019 EX (VIN: 5XYPHDA5XKG451667) priced at $18,976. That car had such a bad smell that we could not buy it and did not even do the test drive. I would have expected that they would inspect cars telling customers about the conditions before making them drive an hour for a test drive. Our sales rep did his best to offer us other suitable cars and we did a test drive with a BMW X1 and a Kia Niro. Both cars were offered as available. After the test drive my wife and I were having a short (5 min max!) discussion while he was heading back to the office. We opted for the X1 and wanted to buy it right away but suddenly the car was gone. Sb else had taken it that very minute for another person for a test drive. The others were not even there! Even talking to their General Manager but this did not help. He said that was the internal processes. Thank you for not selling the car to us despite being first in line.

We were not able to agree on a final deal; however, all of my conversations were friendly and professional. Will look to them in the future

they did a bait and switch with me i called down there 3 days told them id be down . i called 1 hour before i left he said it was there to come on down i said it would be like an hour he said take your time cause they were busy . so i headed down when i got there salesmand went and got the vin off my truck then came in and said i have good news and bad news. i said whats the bad news. he said it was sold the night before yes that doesnt fit well with me . then they wanted to see if one of there sister stations had somehting that would fit. so i asked if it was in harrisburg he said no that it was in maryland i said i dont think so . i was very upset when i left. that will never happen to me again well ill never go there again. bait and swithc is what i was told thats what they did . not very professional .
