Only three stars because after I had agreed to a price with the salesman that he had proposed, the price changed $1899 on the final paperwork because the higherup “closer” salesman needed to add in “The extras”package. This package included clear door edge guards and clear door handle guards $299, a paint exterior guard polish $699, a window tint $599, nitrogen upgrade in tires $299. When I said I would be OK without these upgrades being done to the car the”closer” salesman said these were put on at the factory and couldn’t be removed. Exasperated, I finally said I would give them an extra thousand above the price that we had already agreed to. At that point I should’ve walked away but it was a car for my wife so we settled on the extra $1399’s. I paid the cash for the car and they did deliver it to my house. Because of the”closer” salesman changing the price after I thought the deal was done. I would not recommend Toyota of Dallas.

The vehicle I was interested in did not meet the ealers expectations so they sent it to auction. A representative contacted me, knowing I was waiting for pricing information , and explained the situation.Vehicle did not meet the dealershipsrequirements for resale.Dealership offered to continue to find me a vehicle.Professional in every manner and interested in protecting my investment.I will continue to consult with Toyota of Irving as I search for a suitable vehicle.A pleasant experience for me as I troll the used pick-up market in the DFW area.

Slow response, seemed like they really did not need the business. The internet salesperson was slow and never could get back with me and did not answer the questions I asked. It was like they did not know which client I was and asked the same question I just had asked in my previous response.

Dealer initially priced vehicle at $X which was still above fair market value, KBB, Black Book, and comparables. Upon contacting the dealership, I learned that $X (the universally advertised price) was actually only if one financed through them. If so, they would proselytize to the buyer that they "waived their fee." A $1,000 charge added to the sticker price of each vehicle. Only, of course, if one financed through them. If one decides to bring their own financing, add $1,000 to any listed Richardson price. Passing fiduciary dues and loyalties onto consumers is immoral at best. To top matters off, the 'sales director' emailed me days later to inquire into my buying process noting that, should I have encountered any issues, I should call him (BC) directly... he provided the dealership's switchboard as his contact number. That said, this dealer lost a $50,000 deal by merely being more shady than most. No car deal is honest but Toyota Richardson takes the cake.
