Kia dealerships near me (Providence, RI)

Bought this car. Seemed fine at first. Pushed me into buying it, and they sold me a horrible extended warranty wasting over $3,000 of my down payment and then using the extra of my down payment on all the fees and taxes. Day 1 of taking ownership, welcomed with a failed inspection sticker, and check engine light. They did absolutely nothing every time I brought it in to them and now telling me I have to deal with the issues on my own. Taking it to the mechanic they said it needs a whole new exhaust, a new clutch, and various other repairs that are worn. This will cost me thousands more and this is something the dealership should have taken care of before selling the car or atleast take fault and assist me in following the proper procedure of fixing the car within the warranty time. I HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible if looking to buy a used vehicle!

I reached out to the dealership, which is in a different state. They responded promptly, however they stated that they do not register vehicles purchased from their dealership in states other than Massachusetts. Additionally, they do not arrange for financing for out of state buyers. That’s their decision, however when their vehicles are on a platform like CarGurus, potential buyers from other states will see their vehicles for sale.

They did all they could to match me with a vehicle and were very responsive. I wish they had found one that fit my needs, because I would have loved to purchase a vehicle with them. I did find one elsewhere though.

Absolute waste of time. Arranged to drive from out of state to see a vehicle, made the appointment, spoke to the sales manager, arranged plates to transport..for them to call us the afternoon before and tell us that they sold it. No offer to hold the vehicle with a deposit. Asked the manager directly if it was whomever showed up first with cash despite us having an appointment to view and likely purchase the vehicle the next day. An appointment with him. He said yes. I get that cars are hard to get right now. But the complete lack of customer courtesy was crazy. Knowing he had customers driving from out of state, knowing loan had already been approved, knowing transport plates were in place..didn’t matter. Money mattered. They’ll never get a dime from us.

Everyone at Pride Kia was great and easy to deal with. Very timely responses via emails.
