McKenzie contacted me first by phone and then text. She was pleasant and informative with out being pushy or obnoxious. I am still considering purchasing the vehicle from Rays Chrysler.

I decided I was going to purchase a new Jeep, and trade in my Wrangler. So, I looked around and found the model and trim level I wanted. I reached out to the St. Charles Jeep dealer, and began emailing with them. It was confirmed that the car was in stock, the price online was accurate, and most importantly, there were no required add-ons. I did the online KBB “instant cash offer” which said there was an offer for a little over 17K on my Wrangler - which frankly was low - but I figured they needed to lay eyes on it first. They started the appraisal for my car, and I went over the details for the one I wanted to buy. This is where it started to go wrong. First, despite asking and being told in advance about the “add-ons” being optional, it turned out that was a lie - to the tune of a few thousand dollars. Then, they came back with a laughable amount for my Wrangler. $14,000. So, I left and went to Elgin Jeep - who offered $22,000 without negotiation.

They were supposed to hold the car until I could there on Tuesday because that is my weekend. They sold it the next day and did not call me until Monday afternoon to inform me.

Bait and switch dealer. Their advertised prices are not real. The challenger I inquired on was $4500 more due to having dealer installed BS. Exterior/interior coating, etching, "dealer installed navigation?". The fact that they still do this must mean people fall for it. Be warned. Stay away. As for the customer relations manager... Don't bother in responding. I won't be contacting you to better help you understand that this is a scummy dealership.
