As part of Stellantis, formerly known as the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) company, Fiat’s certified pre-owned program (CPO) is very similar to those of Jeep, Ram, or Dodge. In order to become a CPO vehicle, the Fiat must:

• Have fewer than 75,000 miles • Be from within the last five model years • Have a clean title • Have no frame damage • Be free from aftermarket accessories that alter safety equipment, emissions components, or basic vehicle operations • Must have a warranty manual, owner’s manual, operational keys, and a Carfax vehicle history report

Warranties

Fiat CPO vehicles come with a seven-year, 100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty and a three-month, 3,000-mile comprehensive “Maximum Care Warranty” that covers over 5,000 vehicle components. The powertrain warranty covers repair or replacement of most powertrain components, including the transmission, engine, and driveline.

The powertrain warranty’s timeline starts from the vehicle’s original in-service date and the 3-month warranty begins on the CPO vehicle’s sale date. Both warranties require a deductible, but Fiat says to check with the dealer for specifics. Both warranties can be upgraded and extended. FCA offers plans that can stretch the warranties to last the lifetime of the vehicle, which includes a comprehensive warranty option.

Perks

Emergency Roadside Assistance
Fiat’s CPO vehicles are covered by roadside assistance for the duration of the vehicle’s warranty period. Service are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and include:

• Flat-tire services using the vehicle’s spare • Gas delivery of up to 2 gallons • Battery service and jump-starts • Lockout services for keys locked inside or frozen locks • Towing Services

Transportation Coverage
If your Fiat breaks down due to the failure of a covered component, you may be eligible for reimbursement of expenses related to alternate transportation such as rental cars. The company allows for a rental car allowance of up to $35 per day and up to $175 per occurrence. Owners may also receive a “first day rental” allowance of $35 for taxis or other transportation if their vehicle is in for mechanical repair or maintenance services.
