Battery change 205 Scion TC

Asked by Jan 22, 2016 at 04:34 PM about the 2005 Scion tC Sport Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed battery that went dead in my daughters car now it seems that the transmission don't want to shift from low gear. Was wondering if changing the dead battery would have caused that . It drove just fine before changing the battery???

Maybe you knocked something loose when you did the swap, or forgot to plug something back in? Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 20mins and hook back up and see what happens.
