You will need to remove either the entire door trim panel, or just the part behind the mirror, if it is removable by itself. Then, you should find three nuts on three bolts which are part of the mirror assembly, and a wiring harness. Disconnect the harness, remove the three nuts, replace the mirror, and reverse directions to reassemble.

I had the mirror broken off from a deer running into the passenger side of the car. It pulled off the wiring connection for my replacement mirror. How do I make the connection so it will work properly. I have not been successful finding a new wiring connection that will match the mirror. so I am hoping someone can help me find a way to wire it together manually.

I meant to say that when the mirror was damaged, it pulled the wiring harness from the car so when I try to put on the new one, I have no harness to attach it to. Can I manually wire it and if so, is there a proper way?
