Will start but won't move

Asked by Jul 05, 2015 at 12:51 AM about the 1995 Ford Explorer 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 ford explorer xlt. It's an
automatic. I can start it and switch gear but
when you hit the gas it just revs up and will
not move. If someone knows what could be
wrong with it I would very much appreciate
it...

Check your transmission shift module. Also check bolts from fly wheel to toque converter.

Check the fluid level in the transmission. It could be very low. HTH. -Jim
