HELLO AND THANK YOU! I'M A MINISTER BEING A 1998 9000 CSE TURBO MANUAL SHIFT. HAVING CLUCTH REPLACED. BEEN SITTING FOR FOUR MONTHS THRU WINTER HERE IN MICHIGAN. WANT TO ASSURE MAXIMUM SAFETY.
1998 9000 CSE TURBO MANUAL 122,000 MILES. JUST WANT ADVICE AS HOW TO
ASSURE MAXIMUM CARE TO SUCH A STILL BEAUTIFUL VEHICLE. SHOULD I BE
CONCERNED ABOUT TIMING CHAIN CHANGE AND REPLACING MOUNTS ETC.
If the engine mounts are not broken or sagging, your fine. Have the shop doing the clutch install to inspect them. Timing chains or tensioners need replacing only when there is a problem, they are not a maintenance item.
