cant get hood open on my 944 porsche all electrical and battery is dead

I have heard of people attaching a jumper cable to the starter motor to get power to the system. You'll probably have to remove some belly pans to get to the starter.

You can plug into the cigarette lighter socket. They are usually hot all the time.
