Question type: Maintenance & Repair

WE HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING WE CAN THINK OF. WE'VE REPLACED THE
PCM, ICM, DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR, WE'VE CHECKED FOR GOOD
GROUNDS, TRUCK HAS NO SPARK, NO TACHOMETER, AND WE ARE AT A
LOSS. ARE WE MISSING SOMETHING?

What does the live data show? Open circuits, shorted circuits.

Is the distributor getting power. When cranking you should have 12 volts at the distributor. With the ignition switch in the run position you should have about 6 to 8 volts. Did you have the new PCM programmed to the vehicle using your VIN? Jim

Another thought, is this a security system problem, if equipped? Jim

If you have no spark it is most likely a problem with the distributor. The tach signal is directly tied to the ignition control module in the distributor. It could also be the pick up coil in the distributor.
