If the car only go backward and not forward does this mean the transmission is completely gone?

check your shift cable... is everything in place? no breakage? it could be overhaul time. mine was after 165kmi

Check to see if the parking brake is on or stuck. That happened to a friend. Put the car in neutral and try to push it forward.
