1995 Ford Bronco

I have a 1995 Ford Bronco, Eddie Bauer edition. It's full size with a 1994 rebuilt transmission. I'm don't know a lot about vehicles so need something simple. The ABS light came on, then the speedometer stopped working, then shifting became hard at first and second gear, now the OD light is blinking. No check engine light. We changed the VSS and the neutral safety switch but no help. No blown fuses. OBD1 codes are 452,654,10,212,12.
Please help me. I don't want to sell her. She's in awesome condition for the year. Thanks in advance.

Better recheck those codes, they should only be two digit codes, the ABS has its own test procedure, it is not tied in with the engine management computer. Locate the test connector on the drivers side down low on the harness that comes through the front bulkhead, ground it and read the flash out codes for the ABS light.


The blinking overdrive light could be a bad VSS, or wiring, even though you did replace it. Could also be a resistance problem with the trannys internal solenoids.


Codes came from OBD1 test. We also did the test with the blinking check engine light and got the same codes. We did check the ABS with the scanner and got no codes. Will show this to my boyfriend. Thanks
