94 trans am 57 lt1

Start my trans am and it runs for like
20mins them dies security light comes on
I let it sit for 30 mins and it starts back up
whats what's the problem

One thing you can try is to spray alcohol in the ignition lock and air it off with compressed air and make sure your key is really clean to make sure there's no grease or dirt in the lock cylinder or on the key, so they are cleaned out before you go paying a lot of money for repairs try that.
