Ok, only at idle? Things to check, coolant level low, faulty thermostat, or radiator cap. Radiator fan not coming on, water pump impeller corroded or broken, or a failed head gasket.

Best Answer

I have had the same problem with my 93 trans am and replacing the thermostat fixed it.
