96 sure fire jerking

I am looking at a 96 Pontiac sunfire.  It had
transmission replace few years ago but now has a
constant jerking.  What could it be.

It may be an electrical problem with the engine? A bad coil, if the engine light is on, have it scanned for code to point you into the right direction.
