Cooling Fans not running after hot day and running A/C

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First A/C was not blowing into car when A/C fan was on ... then after about 5 miles the
engine started steaming and got hot.

To lessen the heat load on an overheating engine the computer turns off the air conditioning system. Sounds like you need to service and properly refill the cooling system. HTH. -Jim
