1998 Trans Am Headlight issue

I put in a new headlight motor on the passenger side. When i turn the lights on, only the
drivers side comes up. When i turn them off, the passenger side comes up and the drivers
side goes down.

With the headlights off, use the little thumb wheel on the back of the headlight door motor and turn the headlight down manually, make sure it is down all the way, then turn on the headlights, they should both come up, then turn off the headlights they should both go down, system is now set.
