driver side sliding door wont open more than 12 inches

The safety which engages when fuel door is open has not disengaged and now the door will not open more than a few inches

Found my own answer. Open the door as far as it will go. While looking at the lower track where the door assembly rolls start to close the door about 2 inches or so. You will see the pop-up raised just behind the large carrier arm. Push this down, easily done with just your finger. The door will now open and close; until the next time you refuel. Still have to figure out how to stop this permanently
The cable needs to be lubricated and greased at both ends! Then work both the lever and gas door back and forth until it the sliding door works right! Note: the problem is usually the gas door end try WD40 with the red stick in the nozzle and spry were the cable connects to the gas door. work the gas door back and forth. Try this before taking the bracket off the bottom of the sliding door.
The drivers slider always breaks first,cable piles up around roller drum in power retractor assembly, these are not fun to replace. As the whole panel rear has to be extracted to remove assembly. This is also give you access to gas flap lockout
