My e brake is all the to the floor, can't drive the car. How do i release it or disconnect ?

Your car had 2 ways to release the park brake, 1 had the release handle that most every other car has, the other style was to start the engine and then push on the brake pedal and push on the park brake pedal and you might hear a slight click and the park brake will then release.


Some GM's release the parking brake when you put the car in gear (with your foot on the brake). Try it.


Look up under the dash where the pedal meets the break there may be a release at the joint
