sevice light and abs light on 2001 pontiac sunfire

was driving went to apply brake service light and abs light came on abs not working brakes work like power brakes , is it still safe to drive and what do i trouble shoot?

Yes, it's safe to drive but you don't have the anti- lock feature. If you have to slam on your brakes you will go into a skid. It's most likely a wheel sensor. Check the wiring going to the ones at the front wheels first. They're more prone to wear. This is because they are always flexing and moving when you turn the steering wheel. HTH. -Jim
