My husband let my transmission run low. Know its
shacking and running louder even shakes in idle

Letting the trans fluid run low will have no affect on the engine's running rough. Look other places (after bringing the trans fluid up to normal). Is the car showing any indicator codes or illuminating the CEL (check engine light). Might be a good step to have the car's codes scanned at a parts store to help with your diagnosis.
