my 1996 ford taurus gl when going down the road and coming to a full stop. the car will not move unless you put it in neutral and back to drive it will then go down the road. If i take it easy shifting is smooth but if i give it excessive gas it shifts rough we changed transmission fluid and filter and replaced speed sensor what could be the problem need help bad to get this thing going

Could be the pump starting to fail, my experience with Taurus's is once they start having tranny problems, replace the tranny.
