2002 sunfire

OK I have a 2002 sunfire it goes in gear but it don't
shift so it goes in to drive but it don't go 1,2,3 and
the tracking control light is on I can't get it to go off
does this have anything to do with it

The systems do share some relations but not in a way that will cause a problem shifting, I would recommend that you have the codes pulled to see what the computers are telling you what is wrong, could be a control unit, or a sensor, or possibly wiring problems. Getting the codes will help.
