1 Answer

in a pontiacif the battery is out or unhooked for more than 5 or 10 minutes it goes into a shut down mode and wont start.to get it out of shut down mode you need to turn the key switch on and off 3 times, dont try to crank, just on off 3 times.if this dont crank it,your crank sensor was burned during the battery swap.I have a 00 Grand AM GT,been their.
