2002 Montana blowing oil filter gasket

I started my van up and heard a spraying noise so shut it off and got out and all my oil was on the driveway so took a look and the oil filter gasket was blown out the side so thought maybe defect filter so got new one and it did the same thing it lasted about 5 seconds and I cant think of a thing that wouls cause this i checked the mating surface and is clean with no nicks or anything else that I can see

Ya I figured it out there is a relief valve in the oil pump that was stuck open so I replaced oil pump and problem was fixed
