I have a 2002 Pontiac Firebird I would like to upgrade the headlights to basically the same kind of halogen headlights that the gas monkey car garage show uses when they usually do a car restoration.
They are the crystal looking
headlights that are a better upgrade to
the standard halogen lights more of a
crystal cut pattern for the light to emit
better those are the ones I'm looking
for I know they sell them because
shows like gas monkey garage install
these lights when they restore a
vehicle does anyone know where I
can get those? I dont want the cheap
China ones on eBay either can anyone
direct me to the right website please?
Find a specialist shop that does lights. Try swap meets & flea markets. The HID bright white bulbs use AC or DC ($$ ? your choice) ballasts for more watts. White LED clusters or singles are OK for >everything< else. Turn signals , fog, daytime running lights, tail lights, even interior lights. I did my turbo Abarth like this, & very cool!
Hey thanks for your advice but I wasn't really looking to get HID headlights I'm just trying to upgrade the stock halogen headlights to the cut diamond pattern inside the lens of a new upgraded stock headlight. Its a newer design of the stock headlights I know they make them cuz if you watch gas monkey garage when they do a car they change the headlights to that style. I have HIDs in one car and I don't want to do that again but I appreciate your advice do you know where I can buy the ones I'm talking about? And you're right I'll probably have to take a chance on a special shop hopefully they can help me thanks for the advice!
