will the crank sensor cause my car to stop while driving

possibly. check that the coonection is clean and tight.

Yes it will if it when it goes completely bad you will not be able to restart the engine it will also have symptoms like this misfiring, hesitation, iradicale idle

I have a 99 firebird ii runs great but it stops on me alot . It cranks up but gotta wait at lease 30 mins and i will start again . Mecanic cannot not see codes it shows nothing
